Eric Hannelius, President and CEOEric has helped develop many successful businesses and programs for a variety of public and private financial service, retail, marketing, and commercial real estate firms. Prior to leading VPS, Eric was an entrepreneur in residence at General Catalyst, a Boston venture capital and management company. He also served as Senior Vice President at Fleet Boston Financial Group, Bank of Boston, and Bay Bank Systems in the areas of strategic planning, electronic banking, product delivery, distribution, and mergers and acquisitions.
Thomas Stone, Chief Operating Officer
Tom oversees national business development and operations. He is a co-founder of Vision Payment Solutions, and brings with him experience in executive management positions in global sales, marketing and operations in multiple industries servicing the financial services, telecommunications, and consumer markets.
Steve Gent, SVP, Business Development
Steve is responsible for the development of new business segments, both building innovative new solutions through technology, and finding novel applications for existing systems. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the payment card industry, and an deep understanding of both the present and future needs of modern business.
Cheryl Garabedian, SVP, Partner Relations
Cheryl works with many of our ISO partners at Vision Payment Solutions. She is involved in the development of VPS' training and sales seminars. Cheryl has 17 years of management experience in the bankcard industry managing sales forces, developing underwriting programs, and managing complex financial institution relationships with large merchant processing companies in the United States.
Kathleen Simmons, Director, Technical Operations
Joining the VPS team in 2005, Kathleen brought to the company dynamic leadership ability, balancing a technical skill set with a keen sense of management acumen. Understanding the merchant service need for accurate and timely handling, she transformed the department into a full service in-house 24/7/365 technical support group. Collaborating closely with the management team, she has also been able to expand the technical product offering, while facilitating seamless integration of their products into VPS' ever expanding suite of processing solutions.
Benjamin Scott, Director, Information Technology
Ben comes from a software development background as principal engineer at GreyMaple Software, and is responsible for both overseeing daily IT operations, as well as managing larger software initiatives. Since joining Vision in 2008, he has worked to expand VPS' technical capabilities and streamline business operations through projects such as Aurora.
